ARTE Reportage Ukraine: A Photographer in Wartime 25 min Investigation and reports Documentaries and Reportage After Russia invaded Ukraine, Israeli photographer Edward Kaprov went to the Donbas, to Kharkiv, Kherson and Bakhmut to cover the conflict. He chose the collodion photographic process, a technique which provided the first war photography, during the Crimean War (1853-1856), to document today’s conflict.
